Will I receive a Refund?

So, I bought a Macbook Pro with my student discount around the end of 2009, and waited a full year before I bought applecare. When I bought my macbook, the guy didn't mention anything about my elegibitly to receive a student discount on applecare (trust me, I'm a starving college student- I'll remember any opportunity to save money). So around 2010, when my applecare was about to expire, I went to the Apple store ready to purchase applecare, for my MAC, but I don't think I had enough money that day (Again, no one mentioned to me the student discount). So right before my apple care was about to expire, I went on apple.com and figured I'd purcahse it right before my year of free applecare would expire. So I purchased applecare at the full price of 249, and not the student discount price of 183. For about 2 years now, I had no idea there was a student discount, until TODAY I went with my friend to the apple store to buy her new mac and the apple specialist told me about the discount. Needless to say, I'm annoyed that no one had told me earlier- and that I bought it on apple.com because had I bought it in store, the manager would have refunded me the difference of 66 dollars. Will 1800MYAPPLE do the same?!
