Jan 8, 2012 10:38 AM in response to jammm78by Canuck51,No mine stopped working as well. Have multiple email accounts so I had to completely delete the iCloud email, so I could still use the other accounts. I hope they get this fixed soon.

Jan 9, 2012 1:17 PM in response to marcwiegelmannby mjh1989,I'm having the same problem, like everyone else, w/ iCloud and w/ out. Tried everything, backup and restore, and tested it w/ the steps mentioned in this post. It's still not working. Hope Apple fixes this soon. It's very annoying.

Jan 9, 2012 7:08 PM in response to marcwiegelmannby JoseVzla,Same problem here in Venezuela, stopped receiving push notifications around 4 days ago. The tend to reach at the same time in my blackberry but not even 15 minutes poll nor instant push as it should be.

Jan 12, 2012 1:40 AM in response to JoseVzlaby yujyh,It comes up and down as it likes, this is very unreliable and Apple need to sort this as many business users havd migrated from Blackberries and setup a forward to their me.com to simulate push of their main domain emails...

Jan 16, 2012 7:49 AM in response to Chrisdf28by superfreud,Slightly off topic but I wonder if my problem is related to the one described here:
3 times out of 4, when I turn any of my iOS devices (iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPad 2) on in the morning (actually turning airplane mode off as I leave my iOS devices in airplance mode ON during the night), calendar items aren't pushed to the devices until I launch the calendar app. Once I've done this once then events will be pushed in the background flawlessly. I just have to launch the calendar app everytime I use one of my iDevices.
It's weird as sometimes it works without manually launching the calendar app but most of the times it doesn't.
One thing that might be unusual in my configuration is that I have a main iCloud account with calendar set to push sync AND another "icloud" account configured in the mail settings with a different calendar that's also set to push sync. I wonder if that can cause initial push not to work...

Jan 17, 2012 10:17 PM in response to Vince Pantanellaby ACC7,Hello everyone...
I have been dealing with this issue since October 12th. I have been working with an Apple tech over email on this issue and they have been having me test many, many, MANY things on my phone. All fixes have been temporary only.
If you are reading this, I wanted to let you know that I have forwarded this link to him, and he is aware that the issues on my phone are not isolated to just me. Although they have not admitted that this is a "known issue", he at least admitted that he and his colleagues have looked at the link and that they are "looking at the discussion forum".
This has been extremely disappointing, but I believe they are aware of the issue. Hopefully they are working hard to fix it!

Jan 18, 2012 12:35 AM in response to marcwiegelmannby craydoh,I add my name to the growing list. I migrated from MobileMe with a .mac legacy address. My emails do NOT push to my iPhone4, which is running the latest mobile software.
What is the point of iCloud if your phone is unable to alert you to an important email. Are we supposed to turn on our phones and open Mail every five minutes to see what we got? That is not progress.
On the more practical side, is Apple genuinely aware of this problem? Do they care? Does anyone from Apple ever read these posts? What can each of us do to get Apple to correct this rather serious problem. I am losing faith that they even understand the importance we place in knowing when an email arrives on our phones.
APPLE --------- FIX IT!!!!

Jan 18, 2012 3:46 PM in response to marcwiegelmannby lsjrlsjr,I thought things had been resolved when I posted a while ago but, as we've all seen, they haven't.
It's unreal. My iPhone will get e-mails HOURS after they've been sent if it's taken that long since I last opened the app. I would never have switched from MobileMe to iCloud had I known this would be an issue...and I'd switch back to MobileMe until June if that was an option...but unfortunately, it's not.
I wish MacRumors or some of the popular blogs and press would report on it...maybe a solution would come quicker.
It's so unlike APPLE to let something go on this long without it being addressed. Really disappointed with this part of the service so far.
Hopefully a fix soon...fingers crossed...

Jan 19, 2012 6:51 AM in response to lsjrlsjrby BostonJ81,PERMANENT FIX: Okay, so I had all the same issues as everyone else, my push and cloud functions have worked flawlessly for months now, until yesterday, and I finally know why. I havent bought anything from the itunes store for about 4 months, during this time push has been working without interuption, yesterday I bought two songs, and because I havent signed into itunes for a while, I had to verify my account/payment info, itunes asked for the 3 digit security code on the back of my credit card, as soon as I did this push to my phone stopped working! but here is the FIX! On your device: Settings > iCloud > Account > delete your password > re-enter password > hit Done. device will say verifying and place check marks next to your info. Restart device and push will work flawlesly. I'm assuming overtime when I make a purchase from iTunes and they ask for the 3 digit code off my card to verify I will have to repeat this process on the device, which is still an issue for apple to resolve. Hope this works for everyone else, please reply with feedback.
Take care.

Jan 19, 2012 6:57 AM in response to BostonJ81by Mike-Mpls,I'm sorry - but how in the world does verifying your payment information have anything to do with push email - I really fail to see a connection here - your reply makes no sense.
