Q: Push email does not work (iCloud)

Service is not back. No mail pushed from iCloud.

I was so happy when push worked for a couple of minutes for me that I had to post it. Then after my previous post push suddenly stop working again. LOL

Why the beta testers not show this issue? ...seems incredibile!

iPhone4 running iOS 5, MobileMe to iCloud transfered on day of release.  Push email does not work.  It might work every once in a while, but mostly not.  If I had known about this issue I would have not migrated my mobileme account until this was fixed.  You would think this would have been picked up in the beta testing?!?!?

Apple please send out a software update fix ASAP!

All that need to be done is go settings then enter notification about 3 down then go in email and turn  notification on

This is ridiculous. Woke up this morning, no email. Opened the mail app on my iPhone, 12 new messaged downloaded. Unacceptable.

It appears to work sometimes...then sometimes it doesn't.

I agree with utvol06. Apple needs to sort this out by releasing a new software update ASAP.

Sounds about right.  My iPad has handled push from iCloud so much more reliably than my iPhone.

To help handle notifications, I'm using Boxcar (free from the App Store).  By forwarding my email to Boxcar, I get push from that service even in iCloud push isn't working on my iPhone.  This morning Boxcar told me I had new mail.  I killed Mail on my iPhone and instantly received three push messages for the new mail.

I think the server's fine...there's something wrong with iOS 5 and push from iCloud.  It's gotta be something the phone...otherwise killing Mail on my phone wouldn't affect push messages - right?

Here's hoping Apple fixes this quickly.

It seems icloud push is back on track. Been getting my mails on time for the past two hours.

Been working for me as well in the last 2 hours or so. Even on my WiFi - the last 2 days I had the feeling that it was working on 3G but NEVER at home in my WiFi. Now for the last 2 hours been getting Push even at home.
