Jan 28, 2012 5:59 AM in response to Yorgos Theoby WhiteBandit,Hi,
how can I add my devices to the itunes account id or how can I create me.-Alias for that account (my itunes account is a 3rd party one, like hotmail.
@Marc: That´s true, that´s ******** - I don´t want to change my me.-accounts. However, I´m interested for this "solution"
Thanks

Jan 28, 2012 6:00 AM in response to marcsiegertby Yorgos Theo,Well try this: Do as a did i.e. create a new iCloud account for testing. Do a couple of reeboots (as I did) and if all works fine try to re-enter back your original iCloud account. Fingers crossed this might work (I ve read this in some older posts somewhere).
Worths a shot I think

Jan 28, 2012 6:03 AM in response to WhiteBanditby Yorgos Theo,Klaus just go to settings-iCloud and delete your iCloud account from that device. When you will be asked to delete all related data from your device select the option to keep it locally (not delete). Then log-in back to iCloud with your iTunes login, and go to the iCloud settings. There the mail should be turned to "off". When you enable it the iOS informs you that you have to create a @me.com alias. Agree, set your alias and you are good to go. After you have done this I would recomend you do a couple of restarts on your device (both of my devices needed 2 restarts each! )

Jan 28, 2012 6:05 AM in response to marcwiegelmannby Enryx,People says push doesn't work...
It's true, but I solved the issue simply by restart my iPhone 4S.
Now push works fine.

Jan 28, 2012 6:05 AM in response to Yorgos Theoby Yorgos Theo,I forgot to mention that when you login with your iTunes credentials the iOS will ask you to merge the local info (contacts calendars etc) with the newly created iCloud account. You should agree there i.e. select merge

Jan 28, 2012 6:19 AM in response to Yorgos Theoby marcsiegert,I just did the following:
On my iPod I deleted my own iCloud (former MM) account and also deleted my data. Then I did login with a friends account (This is a totally new iCloud account created a few weeks ago). And this very instant his eMails were pushed to my iPod. It does not matter if Mail App is in the background or opened at all. And I did not even had to restart the iPod. It simply works. Just like it is supposed to be.
So I stick to my theory that new iCloud accounts are not affected. Only certain older accounts are and I guess all of them had something to do with MM.
