I emailed Apple this morning about this issue and another problem with the iTunes Store.
I sent a nice email explaining the issue, and the number of users it appeared to be affecting.
This afternoon I got a call from them, wanting to know more about the issues.
I explained them both in detail and they thanked me for my help and said they would drop me an email giving me their contact details. They also said they would provide me with an update on both issues, they have done so yet.
So is this apparent coming back to life of Push email related to my contact or coincidence?
Maybe there has been some pressure from the top to get these things sorted, maybe Tim and other senior execs did not know about the issue.
Whatever the case maybe, I have started to receive push emails in the last hour or so - interesting.

Out of 5 or 6 test e-mails from different accounts, as well as Ian's post to the board, every e-mail since turning Push on again has come through properly. Let's hope it keeps working!

I also sent an email to Apple ~ only mine was vitriolic lol !
Push mail working for me at the moment also. Lets hope it lasts. Fingers crossed.

Over the past several days there have been at least 100 updates to this thread which should have clued some people in that it was simply an outage and doing all sorts of resets was futile.
Push has been working fine all morning for me. I was on this thread at the beginning and have said more than once. Jumping through hoops generally doesn't solve the issue. It will come back up on its own. I've had the problem since October or whenever this thread was started. The problem comes and goes.
When no push I just open my mail and check it. I've decided it isn't worth raising my blood pressue over the probem

May 31, 2012 1:30 PM in response to Tudor Vedeanuby P. Verbrugge,Same here... suddenly had 15 push messages. I have tested with sending a few mails myself and slowely they are coming in now! Hope it stays this way! :-) It is looking good.
So far so good. They come in, although sometimes the push is there straight away and sometimes it takes between 30 to 60 seconds. Oh well, I can live with the last! :-) It's nice to see it's starting to work again. What a relief!

Mine is still not working. I've had the issue since migrating from MobieMe to iCloud back in October of 2011.
Ridiculous. Truly ridiculous. And still no help from the technicians who've had my diagnostics for weeks.
