I have a macbook pro and an ipad2 running the new ios5. Could anyone please tell me how I copy files from my macbook to my ipad - as ipad does not appear in finder?

What type of files? For apps that use file sharing yu can use that option in iTunes. Some apps also support iCloud and you can use that.
Thanks for the advice, files would be image and video mainly. What's the procedure for iCloud? I am set up on this but I still don't get it!
