there's a mistake in the new itunes 10.5. In french, when the synchronisation begin, we have the translation Etape 1 sur 6 "Attente du dévut de la synchronisation instead of "Attente du début de la synchronisation"

I've updated a bug report on this issue to state that it is still unresolved.

I updated the bug report two days ago.
If you want to fix it for yourself in the meantime use Notepad++ or something similar. Line 8543 of <Programs Files>\iTunes\iTunes.Resources\fr.lproj\Localizable.strings should read:
"4366.070" = "Attente du début de la synchronisation";
