XCode 4.2 archive not listed in the organizer

XCode 4.2 archive not listed in the organizer

I need to submit my current app for review after adding support for iPhone 4S. I am new to XCode 4.2 and I need some help....

After Project->Archive finishes (successfully), I see the archive in /Library/Developer/Xcode/Archives area. However, the organizer does not show any entries.

I tried to follow the discussion at this link but it did not help me.

All suggestions appreciated.

Follow the walk-thru in TN 2250

Do not skip around...do not get creative. Confirm your app's status in iTunes Connect is 'waiting for upload'...

It helped a lot - in fact the archive showed up in the organizer and successfully submitted to the App Store.
