iPhone 4 blurry camera?

I have noticed that the reason my

Pictures are incredibly blurry is because of the plastic or glass protector

Being so scratched. Is this possible to fix just by removing the backplate?

If i go into the apple store (my phone is still under warranty) could they fix it?

This really bugs me because i take pics all the time but now its practically impossible to tell
