sustain pedal
My sustain pedal is working in reverse; releasing the pedal causes the sustain, depressing the pedal stops it.

It is a good idea to solve your problem and invert the pedal polarity in the hardware. If you can not do that you can try to reverse it in the Logic environment.
Go to Click&Ports environment layer and patch/cable a transformer object between the Physical Input and the Sequencer Input. Double click the transformer to open it and set it to:
1. Condition Status-> Control
2. Condition Data byte 1 (Pitch)-> =Fix 64
3. Operation data byte 2 (Velocity)->Reverse

Have you tried unplugging the pedal, press down and plug it in pressed down? That "oldskool" method often works (depending on the hardware...) If that doesn't do it, Vacheto's transformer tip will is a good alternative.
