Why does the ipad ask me for my itunes id everytime I open it up? I have my itunes password entered in the settings.

Why does my iPad ask me for my Apple password everytime I open it up? I have my Itues password entered in SETTINGS.

When I log on, my screen is enlarging itself and the items on the top and bottom get pushed out of screenn view....I have to move the screen up/down, right left to access some icons?
