I am accustomed to having the two-finger right-left swipe be the equivalent of the back button in my browser (Safari 5.1), but it's stopped working. Can anyone point me toward a fix?

Check the setting in System Preferences > Trackpad > More Gestures tab > Check "Swipe between pages".
Make sure that it says left or right with two fingers. If it says 3 fingers then click the arrow next to it and set it back to 2 fingers.

Hi,
My Macbook Air 13 2014 had this funktionality: two finger swipe left -> going last page on chrome. Again -> the page before last one. Then few days ago I updated OS X Yosemite and now I can only swipe once left. If I do it another time it doesn't go page before last one. Can you help me?
I am having the same issue in Chrome. Starting after upgrade to Yosemite.
Swipe back with 2 fingers, will only go back 1 page. I have to use the back arrow to go back more than 1 page.
Not happening on firefox or safari.
Suggestions?
