Tried installing third party software to fix issue with no avail. This is a new problem, Mac used to open .ppt and .pptx files in Microsoft Powerpoint 2011 without any issues. I did not change any file paths or anything to confuse it. What's the next step? Thanks in advance for all the help!
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.2)
Go to finder and right click on one of your .ppt files and select "get info". In the Get info screen is "open with:"
Set to powerpoint and click change all. Do the same with your pptx files.
