Deleting email in iCloud
Seems that my iCloud email on my Mac is not syncing with iCloud. My messages that I delete on my Mac keep reappearing and won't delete until I delete them using iCloud on-line! How do I fix this?!?
Thanks.

Just checked - it works on my iPhone 4, but not on my Mac! Very frustrating....!!
I'm having the same problem so any ideas will be gratefully received....
I've got the same issue.
same here.
Same issue.
Anyone found a fix yet?
Problem still unresolved so I'm now using Mozilla Thunderbird on my iMac. It's ludicrous that this syncs with iCloud but Mail doesn't.
It is very odd. they delete from my Macbook Air and iphone but NOT iMac. Redribble, what's Thunderbird? Does this work with Mac Mail??
Well, over the weekend, it all started to work correctly. Now I can delete and move emails on my MacBook Air and it goes through to iCloud. I guess it just took a while for the iCloud folks to get everything working correctly, which I didn't doubt they would do.

Try unchecking the Mail and Notes box in the iCloud Preference Pane.
Don't Panic when all your mail disappears.
Rechecking Mail and Notes box will bring back all your mail and may reset things so it works correctly.
Norman, you're a genius. Unchecking & rechecking the Mail & Notes box has completely solved the issue.
missusmccallum - Thunderbird is a free mail programme from Mozilla. It's not as slick as Mac Mail but is a good stopgap solution if you can't get Mail to work.
Thanks for the tip Norman - I have tried this, but the inability to delete remains. I even unchecked, signed out and then signed in again. Any further suggestions on how to resolve?
Me too. It's really frustrating. I have even taken iCloud off my iMac altogether and started fresh. Sometimes it looks like they've been deleted than half an hour later they are back in my inbox!!
Stay tuned. I am out riding now but will respond in about 1.5 hours. I have another idea. Will test 1st.
