safari keeps typing double letters
I'm using Safari for Windows (5.1.1) and it keeps typing double letters in web forms, etc. - although it does stop when I reboot the browser. Any help will be much appreciated.

I am having the same issue.
Me too, with Windows Safari 5.1.2, using a USB Logitech keyboard. Here it does the double letter thing whether I reboot Safari or not.
No problem with the other main browsers.
Adjust the KEYBOARD repeat rate in the CONTROL PANEL.-jim
JCSeals - that was one of the first things I tried.
No problem with the other main browsers.
Having read that in the post above, what made you suggest the keyboard repeat rate?

Solution Found:
The culprit was Keyscrambler, an anti-keylogging prog made by QFX Software.
When Keyscrambler was active, the double-letter thing happened when typing into any Safari form fields. Disabling Keyscrambler solved the problem.
I discovered this accidentally by going to XP's Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > Keyboards, and looking at the driver details for my Logitec USB keyboard. The Keyscrambler driver was listed there so I thought there might be a connection. And there was.
I see a number of Safari double-letter complaints on the web and your particular reason for this fault may be different to mine. I've notified QFX about the fault.
Nope. This is 'a' solution. I have an apple keyboard no Keyscrambler. Next please.
This did it for me! Thanks JCSeals!
