Logic Pro 9.0.0 will not open in Lion

MBP 17" newest, Mac OS Lion, newest update. 4gigs

I haven't used Logic for some time now and than I upgraded to Lion. Was that a bad move? now it just keeps coming up with unexpectly quit box. I saw a message that one is to remove the 9.0.0, but that didn't work either. I would like to get to v9.1.5

Hi

You need to update Logic to version 9.1.5 for Lion compatibility.

For the updater to work (via software Update, or by downloading the 9.1.5 updater manually), the Logic application *must* be named "Logic Pro" (no quotes), with no numbers in the name, and it must be at the root level of the Applications folder (not in another folder).
