Safari loading old pages?

Anyone else noticing Safari opening old pages on forums? While visiting several of my daily forums today, I noticed it loading pages that were from my visits last night or yesterday. I'm pretty sure I cleared my history last night, so it must be reading some invalid cookie data?

If you want to look for this, pay attention to forum pages that load possibly after you post. I noticed this twice on two different forums.

Anyone else having this happen?

Just noting that this is happening on MacOS too, not just iOS. It's intermittent for me, but irritating! Apple's policy not to admit bugs until they fix them is certainly annoying, and while I might accept it for myself, I can understand how an enterprise support person would not. Just a "we know it's there and we're working on it" would help, and a "here's a workaround in the meantime" would actually be responsible.

I didn't have this problem until today, when I upraged my 7 year old ADSL modem. (I was reading articles on a news website, and when I hit the back button to go to the news home page I was getting yesterday's news. Swiping back would show the correct page, but then it would reload yesterdays news a second later).

I was suspicious of my new modem. in my case a Dlink DSL-2470B. The auto time setting (which uses internet time servers) on the modem was showing an hour ahead, so I turned off the auto setting and set the clock manually, to the same time as the computer. Now when I use the back button in Safari I get today's page.

(note: I also use the manual time setting on my computer as well, since these time servers never get daylight savings right)

So I suggest people could check the clocks on their modems, for a possible culprit.

Ok my man now the problem I seem to be having is not exactly like yours but its definatley in the same ball park........basicallly I will be browsing the net for a few hours and everything goes smooth nothing seems to be a wrong. You know when your doing heavy browsing your clicking at all sorts of links, and pages , etc......repeatditly pressing the back button to get to where you want. Then all of a sudden the ipad stops loading pages ......its doesn't happen alot but this to me seems like a very big problem they need to address. cuz if i have to close safari and clear my cache and data everytime it happens its gonna get pretty annoying. Im not particularlly sure how to fix or have some sort of work around for this sitution......

Just for the record: since the IOS 5.1 update, this problem has completely disappeared. The 5.1 update fixed the bug in safari. Strange, though, I tried looking for the list of bugs that were fixed in the 5.1 update, and I could not find anything like an official list of everything that was fixed. Does anyone know whether that list actually exists somewhere? You would think that Apple would publish such a list. I find it disturbing that they evidently do not --or did I miss it?
