Iphone 4S not recognized in Itunes

I got the iphone 4S. When I connected it to itunes the first time it worked alright. Now it isn't connecting anymore.

Win 7 64bit, itunes 10.5

I'm sorry to say that, but it is my second apple product (and probably my last one, if it continues like that). I wish I would have gotten an android. I wanted something that works, accepting Apples's golden cage, and that's what I got. Absolutely disappointed.

Has anybody had the same problem?
