Can a stolen iPod be shut down if it is connected to iTunes?
I saw something online about it and I was wondering if it was true, if I first report it stolen.

If you have set up the FindMyiPod feature, wifi is on and withrange of a wifi spot and some othr conditions can be met , you can lock and wipe the phone by going to me.com or icloud.com, Apple will not do anything. Anyone can place the iPOd in recovery mode and restore the iPOd to factory defaults/new iPod even after wiping.
