Deleted Mail Not Syncing in Mail App

When I delete an email on the web or iOS...it syncs to my Deleted Mail folder on all my devices. However, if I delete an email in my Mail App in Lion---it basically disappears. It doesn't show up in my iOS or the web in the Deleted Mail folder. I'm not really sure what is going on with this. Please help.
