Alcohol is not good for LCD screens. Technically it is considered a solvent. If you need to cleen the screen I reccommend you go to Best Buy or similar store and pick up an LCD screen cleaning kit, Should come with a microfibre type cloth that won't scratch and cleaning solution for the screen. Paper towels, and even facial tissue run the risk of scratching the display. Terry Cloth washcloths and cloth towels are the worst even if they are super clean. The kits run anywhere from $10 to $25 depending on the size of the bottle and cloth dimensions. Well worth the investment.
For cleaning the rest of the MACBook Pro a clean soft cloth will do nicely, if there is a spot on the case you can use a LIGHTLY dampened (Almost dry) cloth. Avoid spraying or applying anything to the computer itself, always apply to the cloth and then wipe. To clean around the keys use a clean Q-Tip.
I recommend the Moshi ClearGuard Keyboard Protector available in the Apple Store Online.
Make sure you get the right one for your MACBook size.
