1403 iOS5 error

i keep getting a 1403 error when attempting to upgrade an iphone 4 to iOS5. I don't have any trouble downloading the update - finishes in about 2.5 minutes (i have a very fast internet connection), and then just tells me that the file was corrupted during download. I've upgraded and reset everything i could possibly think of.

Any one else have any thoughts before i have to go into the apple store?

I got the same problem (err 1403), tried everything from disconnecting all USB devices, security software, restore instead update, etc. but nothing worked. Called the Express Lane, he didnt know what it was and I'm still waiting for a solution. Frustrating!

Yes, I got the same suggestion from the Express Lane. They suggested to try this first from another/new user account on the Mac. If that didn't work then to try on another computer. Haven't tried it yet tough.

The bad news is that if this worked only on another computer, then it would mean that the Mac has a problem and has to be repaired; so they said.

i got the same problem with mine and i've tried the whole 'keep trying and it will work' thing and it just doesnt. i swear this is like the 20th time ive tried it and still nothing. i even went into the o2 shop to see if the guy had any ideas on it but he said he hasnt had anyone come in with that problem and i was to just keep trying, but it clearly isnt working!! so anyone else got any ideas as to what i could do?!
