iPhone 4s doesn't charge to 100%
I charge my new iPhone 4s over night through the wall charger. It only hits 92%, and won't charge fully. Anyone else having this issue?

I have the same issue with my iPhone 4. But I get 93% instead of 92%.

96% for me overnight last night on a 4s. I haven't been keeping track carefully (until now) but I know I 've never seen it at 100%
But if I charge it for 2 hrs, I see 100%. Kinda like you'd not leave it charging all the night, but stop charging after it's 100%.
I am seeing the same issue on my 4s and my 4 running iOS 5. Only charging to 92-93% overnight.
The battery readout will take a few charges before it calibrates itself and gives more accurate readings. You are recommended to fully charge it and then let it run down to flat once a month or so to maintain an accurate calibration.
Noticing this issue well. I'll usually allow the phone to get down to about 10 percent or less before I recharge, plug it in overnite and when I wake in the morning the 4S battery indicator shows less than 100 percent. Usually 99 or 98. I've only had the iPhone 4S for less than 3 days so it's only had about 3 cycles or charges. Hoping it's just a calibrating thing.
I watched my overnight charging more carefully.
After a couple of hours, my phone was up to 100%. Leaving it charging overnight, in the morning it was down to 96%.
This is what I'm actually talking about.
So we're supposed to have Siri wake us up in the middle of the night to see if it's 100% and unplug our phones to not over charge?? Meanwhile our batteries will still go down because the battery life in Standy is ridiculously terrible. Apple better fix this soon...
I'm having the same issue. My phone was plugged in all night and when I woke up it was reading 98%. I hope this recalibration thing is true. I'll provide more updates as more days pass.
Recalibration is an interesting theory, but even with 4 IOS devices in the house (iPads 1 and 2, iPhone 4 and 4S), this is behavior that I've never seen before.
After my phone went down to 96% charge, I left it plugged in for a few more hours. It went back to 100%. I'd have continued the experiment, but life intervened.
I went to the genius bar, my battery checked off as normal. Their only recommendation was a restore, which I'm not going for yet.
There's no way that this many people are having the same problem and that restoring the phone would fix it. BUT I will give it a try and let yall know what happens tomorrow...
Having the exact same issue here. The phone will easily charge to 100% in an hour or so, but if it's plugged in over night it's 96%. The iPad2 manages to charge to 100% overnight with the same IOS version. If we're all having this problem, Apple definitely needs to fix it.
