I upgraded in haste to iCloud. Now, I can't sync anything with my MacBook 10.5.8 and iPhone 3G. Can I go back to MobileMe?

I was happy to pay for MobileMe, I've had an account since it was, but everything useful has gone with the migration to iCloud. I would really like to go back now, please.
