Just got the iPhone 4S (first ever iPhone for me).  When I have emails in my Inbox and I want to delete them is there a way to delete more than one at a time?  I know when I go to the Trash it lets me "delete all".  I get quite a bit of emails and it's a huge waste of time to only be able to delete one at a time in the Inbox.

In the mail app press the edit button, there will be a empty circle beside each email, when you press on the circle it will turn red with a white check mark in it. Once you've checked all the email you want to delete pressed the delete button (it was have in brackets the number of emails your going to delete)

II know how to delete my emails by clicking on the circle and making them red.  I know I can go down the list and click on all the circles that I want to delete.  I'm trying to find a way of clicking one box/area and it deleting all the emails in the Inbox.  Thanks for any and all help.

Good question.  I am upgrading from a Blackberry that allowed you to "delete all" from my inbox.  Did you happen to find out if the iPhone 4S has that capability?

So far I've only been told it can not be done.

It can't be done from the iPhone.  You could use Safari, access your webmail and delete from there, if that's easier.
