Hello, I just upgraded to iCloud and to the latest verison of iPhoto. When I enabled "Photo Stream" iPhoto now crashes instantly when opened. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

OK, got the info to fix it:
Go to Library, then the QuickTime folder and delete the 3ixv plugin in that folder. No need to uninstall 3ixv.

This works. I have been on my computer for 3 hours before I got to this link.
This works people, do as the man says.
Before, it crashed on opening and would not load pictures from e-mail.
same problem, but deleting 3ivx does not work for me...

On the top menu, click "Go" then down to "computer." Then open the "Library" folder. Then scroll down until you see the Quicktime folder. Open it and find the item in there called "3ixv" -- just drag it to the trash. That is what worked for me.
