Free space keeps changing

Question

Each time I sync my iPhone (via USB) the amount of Free space shown alternates between 1.5GB and 3GB.

I have 2892 Songs, 82 Apps, 2 Movies and 9564 Songs on the iPhone and have iTunes 10.5.0.142.

iPhone 4, iOS 5

I should of said: "I have 2892 Songs, 82 Apps, 2 Movies and 9564 Photos on the iPhone and have iTunes 10.5.0.142."

Problem still occuring with free space now varying between 1.92GB and 0.56GB

Don't know it this has anything to do with the problem deleting photos.
