Update 4.4.1
My Apple TV doesn't see the new update? I currently have software version 4.4
Anyone else having this issue?
I haven't checked yet. Will let you know if I see it.

It appears that Apple has rescinded 4.4.1 AND 4.4.0. Restore from iTunes yields 4.3 now.

Yikes. My Apple TV was running 4.4.0 and about an hour ago, it said "An Update is Available" and I clicked "Update Now". It got through Step 1, but then displayed a screen to connect it via USB to iTunes! It is totally bricked now and won't display anything. I wonder if this is why it was rescinded? I guess I got caught in the middle?

Thanks. Alas I will have to wait until I get a Micro-USB cable.
Speaking of which... I own at least one of every device Apple has made since 1986- Macs, iPhones, iPods, and iPads. And about a half-dozen digital cameras. And a dozen or so other-odd USB devices. And yet none of these use a Micro-USB cable! Just curious how it came to be that other Apple TV users have these sitting around?

I read somwhere that the servers were turned off because of overload but it should be up in a day or two.
I don't have a micro-usb but never had the need for one. You can find them for cheap online.
