Back to My Mac loses functionality in transition

Just an FYI:

Says that BTMM works on iCloud. And it does- mostly. There's one big difference- BTMM for iCloud *requires* iCloud on all the machines involved, which means (Thanks to iCloud's requirements) 10.7.2+ on everything.

With MobileMe, BTMM works on anything, all the way back to 10.5. And that's what I expected when I transitioned.

I guess I should have taken the question on the transition page "Are all the devices you intend to use with iCloud 10.7 or iOS 5?" more seriously. In my case, I figured I would be able to BTMM to my G5 at home from my 10.7 MacBook Pro. Guess not.
