I have the same problem. I can't connect to the store, and I can't update, and I can't stream music. Watch the discussions people post and you can see the same complaint, in various forms.
Some people have tried a netsh winsock reset: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3396443?start=0&tstart=0
and this https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3259052?start=0&tstart=0 BUT a netsh reset can cause other problems and doesn't work for everyone.

This won't apply to most people, but most of my problem was solved by a brand new update for CovenantEyes. I am also working with 2nd-level support. Edward identified a setting in IE9 that I needed to change:
uncheck "Check for server certificate revocation"
