Apple Cards application checkout issue!

Hi there,

I have the Apple Cards application; and I'm ready to process the order and it stops me at the checkout sequence.

It provides me with the following alert

"There is not enough information in your account to process the order."

Please go to Settings -> Store to update your account info.

I've tried everything from changing the billing information; and it still doesn't work.

May you please assist with this issue?

Is the program not avaialble for Canadians?

Thanks

Gabriel

I have the exact same issue and I'm trying to buy from New Zealand. It asks for my AppleId login, then my Visa card CVV and then displays the error. Have been trying since last Saturday but still no luck. My billing information is correct & completely filled out. I have no idea where the issue is. Wasn't this app supposed to have been just a few clocks away from sending the actual card? And how long will it take to deliver the card to an address in New Zealand?

I hope apple answers this soon or someone out there has a solution to this.

I was able to successfully purchase and send out a card as soon as I updated to ios5 and downloaeded the CARDS app. The card is really cool however when I went to order another one it kept asking me to update my billing information as well. I updated it. I even restored my phone to see if that would fix the problem. Still no luck. I've been trying for 2 days. it was great when it worked and i wish it would work again.

add me to the heap of people having problems with this.

  • I am in Canada
  • billing information is EXACT to what is listed in my credit card account to the letter (I work for the same bank that issues the card).
  • still the same issue.

no problem buying apps or songs, however problem buying a card that cost way less.

really don't understand the issue ... you would think a pretty obvious 'bug' like this would have been caught in QA.

gonna try touchnote as someone else suggested in another thread.

I ordered a Card 4 days ago. Worked fine.

Tonight it says "Please update your account, there is not enough information in your account to process the order. Please go to settings > store to update your account info". Of course, it doesn't ACTUALLY say what the problem is. The Cards FAQ on developer webpage doesn't help with this issue, or even explain this issue.

The simple fact is nothing has changed in the past 4 days. First one worked fine. This one does not.

My iTunes account is tied to gift cards that I purchase. I absolutely refuse to give Apple my Credit Card number since they seem to double/triple charge for items then you must argue with them in order to get your money returned. This option also allows me to get a handle on expenses. Using gift cards works EVERYWHERE else in the iTunes/Mac App Store infrastructure. I rent/buy movies, music and apps. I even upgraded to Lion using this method. Apple will not fix this issue until people really start to complain or it affects their bottom line so don't hold your breath. So much for moving forward.
