Iphone 4s volume

My iPhone 4s volume keeps glitching. Every so often the volume will turn all the way up even though it's set to the lowest setting. After a few seconds it returns to normal. Anyone experiencing this

I have also experienced a glitch with the music player volume level during headset listening on my iPhone 4S 64GB. Sometimes when changing to the next song, the volume level has momentarily dropped, but after a short while it has restored to the original level. I don't think that the volume bar on UI has indicated any change though when this has happened. Then yesterday the volume level dropped "permanently", in other words I had to adjust the volume bar much higher than usually the get satisfactory loudness. I don't have any volume leveling features on, and I have not experienced the same problem with my 3GS earlier using the same song files. Powering the device off and on did not solve the issue, but switching off all applications from the multitasking control (which you get with a double click of the home button) solved the issue at least for now.

I am using iOS version 5.0.1

Anyone else had this problem?

Same problem here and it's getting worse the longer I own this phone. The volume turns itself all the way on high and gets stuck there. Also, the volume symbol gets stuck on my screen and the only way to get rid of it is to keep trying to turn it down until it finally dissapears, which is hit or miss. I'm getting very annoyed with this issue. Has anyone taken their phone back to the store to get it fixed? I'm also using the 4S 32gb
