Why my photos in PC not appearing in ipad 2 photostream despite they being saved in Photostream upload folder in PC?

Background: I downloaded ios5 on my ipad 2 and enabled icloud on the device. I then downloaded icloud on my PC(with windows 7) from apple website & enabled icloud on my PC too using the same ID.

Issue: I then saved few pictures in photostream upload folder in PC, but unfortunately I don't see any of these pictures in ipad2 photostream. However I can see the pictures I clicked on Ipad-2 in photostream download folder on my PC.

Can someone pls. help and explain how to get PC(with windows 7) pictures on Ipad-2 using icloud photostream?

I have the exact same issue. can someone please chime in?

I added 6 photos to my Photo Stream\upload folder in WIndows 7.

The 6 photos appeared in my photostream folder on my PC (Photo Stream\My Photo Stream) but none of them have shown up in the photosream on my iPad or my iPhone 4S

I have same problem. I think it is a problem with the photos app on ipad because I also installed Numbers for ipad and I can see all my photos in media section of Numbers???

Double check to make sure that you have Photo Stream turned on, that might be the cause. It's seperate from the iCloud toggle.

icloud.com is giving me an error (can't reset), but I tried another solution from another discussion and it worked. Unfortunately the uploads file has to be on the C: drive. Worked instantly

OK I was wrong, you can have the uploads folder off the C: drive. Solved my whole upload issue by uninstall/reinstall, creating new folders before logging into icloud, etc. See instructions in this other discussion.
