How to publish using scp?

Does anyone know whether it is possible to configure iWeb so that it uses scp (not ftp) to upload content to a web server?

I have googled, but haven't found anything, so it looks to me like this might not be possible -- which would be really a shame.

No. If you are using iWeb 09 directly to upload your website, then you have 3 alternatives from the drop down menu - you can choose publish to MobileMe, ftp to server or publish to a local folder. 3 options and 3 only.

If you want to do something different, then you'll need to publish your site to a local folder so that you get the html and css files and then use something different to upload your html files such as Cyberduck, Transmit or whatever you want.

What you want to do can't be done it iWeb itself. At this time there are only 3 options available for direct publishing and the MobileMe option won't exist anymore after June next year.
