Send mails via own smtp server

Is it possible to send mails through my own (or any other) smtp server when I use the web frontend of iCloud?

This ability existed in MobileMe, but did not make the transition to iCloud.

After moving to iCloud, the following webmail features will no longer work:

  • Checking external POP email accounts.
  • Using a "Send From" address to send from a non @me.com or @mac.com email address.
