iphone 4s touch screen unresponsive and Siri is talking faster...I've tried to reset my phone and reboot and it's still not working right

I have had my iPhone4s since release date. It has been working great until last night. Last night, the touchscreen became unresponsive, and testing Siri out, I noticed she was talking faster than normal. I tried powering off the phone, and I tried resetting the phone. I'm still receiving the same results. I've noticed that the apps that I try to click on are encapsulated with boxes. No app will open. Any suggestions?
