I have yet been able to access iMessage on my iPad because I can't verify my email adress on the app. I have viewed my Apple ID online and can see that the email I'm trying to use has been verified by Apple already. It says it has sent a verification link to the email address I am using and yet no such emails have been recieved. Does anyone know how to remedy this?

I have the same problem on my iPad2 trying to set up facetime and iMessage. I have a case number that a tech was supposed to call me back on... 2 weeks ago. Will give an update if a solution is discovered.

Me too!  I get this message.....  any help would be appreciated.

This email address is already in use or you may already have an Apple ID associated with this email address. Please try again or sign in using your existing Apple ID.

I get this same message from logging into iCloud.  BOTH of my email addresses are verified, but I never recieve any message, and iCloud doesn't log me in.

This all came about because I wanted to access a "shared" calendar from my wife, who is on iCloud.  Its not really a very useful "share" if I have to exist on the same system as she does.  Google Calendars can be shared and viewed by anyone.  I expect alot more from Apple, where "user experience" is paramount.

My email was on my wifes apple id as a secondary address. Once removed it solved most of my problems...

Same problem. I changed the email Apple ID to another, changed the password but iMessage still won't let me use my primary email for messaging. Help!

I get the message: Unable to verify email

because it is already in use.  Yes, it is- by me!

I can't find any help with this without paying for express lane

support, since my iPad is out of warranty. Since it is an Apple

Software issue, it should be free support!
