MacBook (white) screen flash when wake from sleep

Noticed when waking Macbook (White, 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB SDRAM, 10.7.2) from sleep the screen flashes white once before coming on.

Not sure if it happened pre firmware upgrade or pre Lion upgrade but it's really anoying.

Any ideas anyone ???
