IOS 5 lag on iPhone 4

Ever since the iOS 5 update my iphone 4 has been lagging alot.

This is evident when your on the lock screen and you double click the home button to open the music tab. When i play a song and press next track the music pauses (the triangle play sign is shown meaning it paused) then after around 1 second delay it starts playing the next track. I can tell its doing this and lagging because the album art cover disappears and my phone background is shown (since it does that when music is not playing) and then after that 1 second delay the next track's album art cover pops up again if that makes sense..

I've tried restoring... can somebody see if they are also getting the same problem? Otherewise I'm gonna head over to Apple store and see what they say about it.

Also just generally playing songs without it locked this time, when i click next track it is a scratchy and jumpy when its changing tracks and album covers.
