new iphone 4s

all that the screen shows is "Login... or Sign In...
uninstalled the app and reinstalled it
been into settings>messages> and turned iMessage off andback on
tried turning wifi off and using mobile network, then again trying the wifi
also done soft reset on the handset
anyone else having these problems?
any solutions?

If you're referring to iMessage, it's built directly into iOS 5 as part of the Messages app. There's nothing additional to download.

Hi same here, says connecting, only an advert on top, and ....thats all....any luck ?
I have iphone 3gs, and i already upgrade to ios 5, but my imessenger can't connect, on display "connecting" but nothing happen... :(
