no serial number after upgrade to 10.7.2 (11C74)

Just upgraded to 10.7.2 (11C74) via Software Update and tried iCloud on a MacBook Pro (Intel 2.4 GHz Intel Core Duo). It complained number of devices exceeded but when checked serial number in About This Mac -> More Info it states "Serial Number System Serial#"

Cant find anything on this - help!
