stylus rmx real time record?

One of the features of Stylus RmX is Chaos and its ability to imrpovise in real time, selected patterns and loops.

Unfortunately, it limits the phrases to 32 bars which then have to be dragged into Logic.

I would like to capture the performance (a stereo loop, not a multi-output) in real time and it seems that this is possible if routed correctly to the Aux but it doesn't seem to be working so far?

I'm running Logic 7 but perhaps this can be handled a bit easier in version 9.

I'm currently experimenting within the Environment but it would seem like there would be a simpler way to do this.

Any ideas? Thanks...

There is a Logic feature "Recording from Bus" which is very useful for real time recording. Route the Aux output to any Bus # (instead of Stereo Output), select an Audio Track and set the Input select of that Audio Track to record from the Bus # (instead of hardware audio input). Arm the Audio Track, hit record and play. The RMX Aux or output will be routed to the Audio Track and recorded as separate audio in real time.
