Mapping a network drive on iPad

Is there a way (or an app) to map a network drive (such as a shared drive at work or school) on the iPad? I've found plenty of discussions about mounting the iPad as a drive through Air Sharing, etc., but nothing about accessing shared drives on the iPad itself. The closest I came across was a way to use Air Sharing to connect to a mapped drive on a Mac, but I'm looking for a way to use the iPad solo to connect to a drive on a windows network. Thanks!
