Why is there a green line at the top of videos I shoot on my iPhone 4s?

I got my iPhone 4s at launch and have been pretty happy with it. One thing that is bugging me however is the presence of a green line at the top of every video I have shot so far. The green line doesn't show up while shooting the video or playing it back on the phone but when I play it back on my computer its there. I've tried several computers and also made sure I was on the latest version of QuickTime and none of that has helped. I don't see any settings in QT that make it go away.

I have exactly the same problem.... New 4s with 5.0.1

I also have the same issue; new 4s with v5.01 loaded.

I would like to see this fixed.

I did more test and the only time when I do not have a green line is if I record video in landscape mode with the camera in the upper right corner. Any other position of the camera will add the green line.

I need to make a correction it is the upper left for the camera. 🙂

It is also strange if I start recording in this position I can turn the IPhone around while recording without having the green line.
