Missing entries after a restart

I have MobileMe and have not gone to iCloud. I did start but did not finish the process.

When I restart my MacBook Air, I have had some AppleTV problems, all my entries in iCal are missing.

I can get them back if I select Calendar>Subscribe. As soon as I do, everything re-appears, and I dismiss the Subscription link that links to a weekly calendar numbering.

Any suggestions?
