I am new with the iPhone. It downloads my email from Comcast just fine, but I can't get rid of the messages. I configured it to delete the messages from the server when I delete them on the phone, but it keeps downloading the same deleted messages over and over.
Any ideas?

I have now read several other similar messages with suggested fixes. I'm wondering if anyone else has had SUCCESS fixing this or do we have to wait for an email software fix from Apple.

I think you have to set Mail on your iPhone to delete emails from the Comcrap server once they are downloaded. Then they are not on the server anymore so will not keep downloading. What you do with them (delete or file) on your iPhone is, I believe, a local iPhone issue.
