Just transitioned to icloud. I added a photo to photo stream from iphoto and when I go to icloud on my mac I do not see any photos nor do I see an icon for photos like I did in Mobileme? Also, will photostream allow others to upload photos to my "gallery" as it did in mobile me? That was on of the reasons I signed up for mobileme in the first place.

You can't access photos from www.icloud.com. You can only view them in iPhoto ot Aperure ( or on a PC in your pictures folder ).

No. It is not a gallery, nor does it have sharing options.
Then I fail to see how this is better than Mobileme. As I said before, the reason I bought MobileMe was for the gallery aspect.
Apple icloud is not a "replacement" of mobile me. It is a new product with different features, some of them similar to "Mobile Me", but not with the same features.
Where are my photos from photo stream in iCloud?
