how to clean screen

Use one of those microfibre cloths for cleaning spectacles. I have to clean mine about once a day, and have been since I got it (iPad 1, May 2010 - no harmfull effecst since)

For really grubby screens, you can use the spary that splectacle wearers use, for some extra cleaning power.

i use those "alcohol" wipes used to clean glasses, and a micro fibre cloth. i carry a few in my ipad case along with the micro fibre cloth.

Using an alcohol wipe (as has been discussed in past threads) tends to destroy the special coating on the iPad's glass - in time. Never use these. A micro fibre cloth is all you need.

Note that you will not want to spray cleaning fluid of any kind directly on your iPad, or you could get some into places where liquid should not go, and that may damage the iPad. If you need more than just a wipe with a dry cloth, try a very slightly damp cloth (one that won't drip when squeezed), or try spraying a small amount of cleaning fluid onto the cloth. Personally, I've never needed more than a tiny bit of water to clean any of my electronic devices' screens.
