Non-Enterprise E-mail Unavailable On Enterprise WiFi

While on our enterprise WiFi, which uses a proxy script, many of the other applications, including e-mail, do not connect to their respective servers. This is a pain for those of us who need to check e-mail addresses outside of our corporate domain -- we turn off WiFi, check e-mail, and then turn WiFi back on.

I've posted this before, and have heard from co-workers that Siri doesn't work correctly on enterprise WiFi for what seems like similar reasons.
