iPhone 4s frozen on Reboot screen! Please Help!

I have an Iphone 4s that I just bought last week. Today it randomly went to the reboot screen (White apple, black screen). I've tried a soft reset several times but itunes won't recognize the phone for me to do a hard reset. What should I do!?

iOS 5

I also have a iphone 4s that I bought on Friday and within an hour my phone froze on the white apple and locked on that screen.

I called Apple and they had me restore the phone and it was ok until about 2 hours ago and it started again with a new twist. It goes to the while apple, then turn off, then comes back on again and freezes on the white apple. If i am lucky it will finally let me put in my password to unlock the phone.

My iPhone 4s (white, at&t, 16gb) has been randomly reseting since I got it. I tried a restore with no success. Today it frooze with a black screen, and I had to force a reset to use it. I called apple support, and I sent them the crash logs. They said it was a hardware issue, and to take it back to AT&T and request a replacement since I am within the 30 days.

I went back to the Apple store today and they tell me I have to come back tomorrow for an appointment with a tech. Like I have time for all this. This is after making a reservation to wait in line to get the phone last week.

I have to say, I expect better quality and customer service from Apple.

I need my phone for my work so I am really unhappy.

I had the same problem but I did find a quickfix that was I found on youtube. My phone will not upgrade to the IOS5 and it will not restore. So until I get to the Apple store this is just a temporary fix. I hope this will work for you all.

1) Go to the website http://ih8sn0w.com/

2) Click on iREBr4 (For IOS 3.x.x. to 4.x.x.)

3) Once the pop up box appears click on Regular Download then click the link to download

4) You will save the file to your desktop or other destination.

Make sure your phone is connected to your computer before doing step 5.

5) Open the iREB-r4.exe file and when it opens click "Recovery Mode Loop Fixer" then "Set Auto-Boot True"

You can try these instructions if you would like to just get your phone working from being frozen. This is just a temporary fix that worked for me.

F.Y.I. I did go to the genius bar to get my phone fixed. My phone was stuck in a loop, and I did use the recovery loop part of the program as a temporary fix for my phone until I made to the genius bar. It may have overall been a jail broken program, but the recovery loop part of the program stated that it would not work on jail broken phones anyway. I was desperate to get my phone working since I was expecting important calls and all I can say is that it worked. I totally agree with you, go to the Genius Bar to fix your phone! 🙂 Sorry if sharing my experience offended you or anyone else.

I woke up today and my iPhone 4S felt very hot and frozen on the black screen with the scrolling circle (not Apple logo). I've tried turning the power off and on but that didn't work. I tried charging the phone, thinking it may be dead, but it shouldn't still show the frozen circle if it were. Anyone else had this problem? I don't want to do a hard reset until I show the phone to AT&T and hopefully they'll just replace the phone.
